Hi there, this is my first spring with a salt generator inground pool. How can I keep the pool sanitized without running the heater to trigger the salt generator? I don’t want to run into high heating costs in 10 Celsius weather. Can I add chlorine pucks for a couple weeks? Thanks!

It is best if you use liquid chlorine to maintain your FC based on the FC/CYA Levels. You can use some trichlor pucks if you need CYA in your pool water. Can you post a full set of pool water chemistry results from your own test kit.

Check your CYA and if it is low you sure can run pucks for a couple weeks, just know it is adding CYA
