I bought a 15 years old house... pool has a skimmer line leak.. skimmer was replaced... jack hammer was used by repair guy.. so after the skimmer replacement the pool wouldn't run off main drain... the vent pipe to the main drains for the safety vac release would dump.. causing the pump to aerate... so we did all the normal drain cleaning things.. finally pumped compressed air from pump to main drain.. 2 got 3 or 4 big broken chucks of gunite, they were 1/2 round... like when something liquid settles in pipe and hardens... after that I could almost run on main... fast forward to today... we scoped drain and you can clearly see both main drains have a good amount of gunite in them.... how would a professional deal with this... thanks tony
