I need some more Magic Lube. What I have came with my pool. Is there a particular brand to use? Is there any place that has it for a good price? Seems like it might be best to find it local because Amazon looks pricy. Probably because of the shipping.

Those links above have the right info. I’m a fan of BOSS 820 lube. I use it on all of my household plumbing repair jobs as well. I even used it on my ShopVac cartridge filter to help the rubber boot slide and seal over the plastic intake cage. I use it a general purpose lubricant on almost anything …

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I was given and been using the blue label Aladdin. Should I do anything other than wipe it off the o-ring and apply the correct stuff (red label)?

Just do that. Clean the teflon stuff off and switch to silicone based lube.
