I usually use MA that’s 20% Baumé (31.45%) but for some reason I was only able to get a gallon of MA and the ingredients for this specific gallon is listed as Hydrogen Chloride 20% and Inert Ingredients 60%.

I don’t see this option in the Pool Math drop down menu for entering this % MA into the pool.

My PH is at 8.0 and I’m currently trying to get it down to 7.6.

It’s a liquid chlorine plaster pool and approximately 17,500 gallons.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don’t even see this % in the Taylor Test skit booklet for reducing PH using a specific MA %.

Thanks in advance!

The % differences are easy to calculate if need be. Half strength MA (15.7%) requires double the add of the 31.45% , etc. Yours is 20/31.45 and it doesn't need to be nearly that exact so just eyeball 2/3s of whatever dose PM says for 31.45%

All correct in the reasoning, just a tiny typo in the last step: Multiply the quantity you get for 31.45% MA with 3/2 (not with 2/3) to get the required quantity of 20% MA - you need to add more to make up for the lower strength, not less.
