Luna Quartz Irregularities

Hi All, new here.

Just in the finishing stages of a pool build and wanted to get expert opinions on the plaster. We did Luna Quartz. There are quite a number of areas of irregularity, including trowel marking, raised/depressed areas, rough areas and discoloration especially around floor heads and the like. While I understand it's still plaster and some of this is expected, what is the threshold of 'bad' here? See photos during night with lights on. During the day it's not quite as noticeable, except baja bench. See photos.

What are remediations besides doing a heavier acid treatment/brush, light sanding, etc. to expose more of the aggregate and even it out? TIA.

I think that looks within the range of normal to me. It could be better but it isn't that bad either. I am sure others will chime in.

You can not judge palster at night under the lights. How does it look during the day?

Looks to me like an average plaster job with typical flaws.

Here are daytime photos.... unfortunately it also appears staining from unbrushed debris/dirt in corners and a crack or delamination thats developed on the back wall... what conversations should I be having? Plaster is only two months in. Pool has never been heated, 50-60 deg water.

That crack is the concerning problem. That needs to be investigated to determine how deep it is and if the crack is also in the gunite. Depending on what is found a total replaster may be necessary which can address the other problem areas.

Thanks, yes, looks to be delaminating around a jet in a 12"+ circumference. Seems like applicator issue. Not sure how seamless of a repair we can get, but will follow up here when more is known. Hopefully we don't have to replaster the whole pool.

In that event should I just upgrade to something more durable? E.g. primera stone
