Need help with the TA and PH
This a.m. readings
TC: 5
CYA 60 (added stabilzer to bring to 75)
TA 50
PH 6.8
Water temp: 87
Opened pool 5/11 and TA was 100 and PH in normal range 7.2 - 7.5. Slammed using Pool Math. Then went way two weeks within a month and SWG set too
high so turned off SWG and allowed to drift down and yesterday started running the SWG at 20%. I've read Pool School and did the calculations in Pool Math, but am still confused as to what to address first. In three years never had a PH/TA issue. Purchased an accessory to help aerate the pool. Pool has had very little use in the month it's been open.
Suggestions as to the best option - Super Washing Soda/Borax/Baking Soda - read that it should be done in small increments!
Many thanks!
