Low Salt in water after winter

Same issue here - just opened and my salt reading on the SWG was VERY low - like 1700. Every year I usually have to put in about 160 pounds or so, but this seems kind of strange. Is it conceivable that the pool could lose that much salt content over the winter? I assume I'll have to get an independent salt test to make sure, but I'm wondering if my SWG is starting to go.... It's almost 10 years old.

Did you do a CH reading before winter and then when you opened? That parameter will also fall if you had significant dilution over winter.
Post the full diagnostics from your SWCG. Also you need to get a K1766 salinity test kit to accurately test your salinity.

Thanks. I didn't see the other thread that you referenced. We had a ton of rain this winter/spring. I have just never seen it dilute so much (3400 down to 1700).
