Low FC SWG running at 100% - replaced cell, same issue

One of the benefits of manually dosing your pool is that you get a 'feel' for the water, you'll quickly recognize the FC demand pattern (and know when something is not right). This is why it is important to know how many ppm of FC your cell is making daily vs test results, and that is where the SWG Runtime Calculator is priceless.

Once my water is in the mid-high 80F's I know my FC usage will be up in the 3ppm range, reaching 4+ppm in mid summer when we are all swimming everyday. That is why I doubled up on my SWG cells, I knew I would need 8-9 hours of cell runtime to make it through summer if only running one cell. Unless the solar is on, I only run my pump 5 hours a day.

Yes, based on the calculator i should have been basically break even but i guess i wasn't accounting for the increase in temperature and sunlight in peak summer. I actually counted my chlorine loss as my pool would lose chlorine from shock level down to target level and it was 2ppm at the time, but i now that i recall, it was not very sunny or warm those days so i think thats what threw off my calculations. I can definitely see that as a benefit, i'm relieved that what is going on is just 'normal' though. i just felt like needing to manually dose with chlorine was symptomatic of a problem but apparently its not. so for the two cells, do you need two complete setups or is there a way to set up two cells on one controller?

I'm using two complete Intex units in parallel. There is a link to my 'build' in my signature.
