Low Calcium in Vinyl Pool

My CH showed 125 ppm with my test kit and the pool store's test showed it being at 79ppm. Their solution was for me to add 48lbs of calcium increase. My solution was to walk out the door (I do buy their liquid chlorine) without the calcium. Poking around I see that low CH levels for vinyl pools isn't an issue. Could someone please confirm this? Otherwise everything is great, crystal clear water, stabile FC, PH and CYA(30). Thanks,

I've had mine around 70 for years now......no problems. Save your money and go swimming.

It isn’t necessary and in fact can create issues with salt cells.

Agreed, mine is 50ppm, no issues at all after 4 years.
