Dirk, that is a great question! It is a system that had "pop ups" in the bottom of the pool. Here is some pics of some:

It takes a GOOD installer to get them right as the pool surface has to be just right for them to work. Since they have moveable parts you need to make sure you can get parts in the future as well. When they work they are great. Texas and AZ use them quite a bit due to their winds and sand.
