I went to my control box today and noticed an intermittent (but at regular intervals) loud buzzing coming from the SWG transformer. I changed the % on the SWG and noticed that changed the buzzing interval. Meaning, the more chlorine I was generating the more often the buzzing occurred. I've never had a transformer buzz. I have to imagine that is bad for the transformer and the thin insulation on its windings to vibrate like that. Has anyone else had this? Do I need to get another?

Problem solved. It was a bad relay. The relay was not fully latching creating a buzz. The transformer was thusly turning on and off very rapidly making the buzzing far worse. I swapped out the relay and all is good.
