Woke up to go for a swim and found pool had lost 3 inches of water over night. Now it has been real hot in Houston lately , but not that kind of hot! It just so happened that my pool was running it's morning circulation program. I went back to equipment pad and water was spewing from my old Rainbow Chlorinator that I do not use anymore. I kept it hooked up to system for emergency use since I have Stenner system. The white return tubing installed by PB had deteriorated and was spewing water. So I replaced the tubing and all is well now. If you have your Rainbow still hooked up you might want to double check the tubing.
Lost 3 inches of water overnight. You will never guess the culprit.

Im kinda disappointed, I totally guessed plumbing leak. I thought from the click-bait title that it would have been something more exotic. 
I was hoping either wild animals drank it or like in the movies helicopters used your pool water to put out a wild fire

About three-four months ago, my pool started to loose about 1/4~3/8" of water a day. No obvious leaks. Then one day my wife texted me a picture: A hose that I use between the pump discharge and the filter had sprung a small leak! Problem solved.
