Looking for ideas existing pool (slide, jumping rock)

I'm looking for ideas or people who have added slides, waterfalls, jumping rocks to existing pools. I'm trying to avoid cutting into the existing pool, so would like a slide/rock etc that can hang over the edge.

I have an idea to build a wooden platform similar to disney's for wilderness water tower and add a slide from a platform there.

Jamie, you need to check with your home owners insurance before you get much further. Some do not allow any of this.

Now on to the fun (once you find out you can add them!). Here is some info you need for adding a slide: Adding a Pool Slide to your Inground Pool

-jump rock-I don't think you have a deep enough area for this. Here is a link that talks about 6' for starting blocks aka jump rocks: Minimum Water Depths for Head First Diving From Pool Decks, Starting Blocks, Docks and Similar Low Fixed Platforms

Now if you want to add a pretty waterfall that no one is allowed to jump from you could do just about anything you wanted. Let us know if this is the way you want to go and I am sure we can come up with something pretty!

I've got all three. Waterfall in the middle and a 10' slide 'wraps' around the slope of the waterfall. Jump rocks on other side and in waterfall. I had the slide elevated so the bottom is a few feet and there is a nice drop into the pool. I agree about the depth. Ours is 8' deep and it's pretty easy to hit bottom while jumping in. Ours was added when built so we were able to use the excavated dirt for the waterfall mound.
All three get used but I've found that the more kids (middle/high school) we have over... The slide wins.
