Here we are as of this morning... Note, we shut the water off overnight so that we didn't have to check every few hours. Should definitely be ready to fire up later today!
Oh yeah, almost forgot... New multiport valve installed... As "Texas" said on my other thread, it sticks out like a "beacon" compared to the rest of the equipment! Also, a new sight glass, the old one was really nasty and no longer transparent.
I was thinking about you when I woke up this morning..........wondering how many times you got up to check the water level! With a liner pool you could turn off the water. Unlike a plaster pool where you do NOT turn off the water until the water is halfway up the waterline tile.
We are biting at the bullet to get this baby fired back up!!! Only a couple inches to go. Keen eyes will note I'm already dissolving stabilizer in socks. Lol. Also just manually dosed to 6 ppm of chlorine. Will be doing a test 30 minutes after this baby is fired up.[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
Yeah, that's what they replaced the old ones with! I like the clean look of them. But we used to use the middle screw to judge water level. Have to get used to a new metric now... In the middle! [emoji23]
New multiport valve, no leaks!!! New flex hose repair, no leaks!!! New pressure gauge and relief valve, no leaks!!! New pump drain plugs, no leaks!!!! And new Union caps, no leaks!!!
Yeah, no leaks at startup... But 1.5 hours in, there's a minor leak at the ONE PART I didn't replace or reseal... The multiport drain plug. It's VERY minor and might seal on it's own. We'll see. I have another thread about it in the Equipment forums.
