I have a liner pool I built in 2018/2019 and I am having my liner replaced as we speak. I installed my first liner but hired someone to install the new liner that I ordered, he came recommended. Well I am filling the pool now and he has cut in 3 of jets and 2 skimmers, there is one more jet and 2 bubblers left to cut in. Well the water finally got over the 3 jets and I went out a few minutes ago and noticed we now have water between liner and walls. We didn’t this morning while the water was under the jets.
I noticed that when he cut the liner for jets he also cut the foam the same way and sandwiched the liner and foam in jet. Is this normal? When I installed foam and liner last go around I cut foam completely around jet and only sandwiched the liner in the jet.
I asked him about it and he said that’s the way they do it. He is coming back with dye to see if that is where the leak is.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
