Since your pool is new, I want to remind you that *all* new plaster causes pH rises and the plaster cures. You'll want to get a good grip on how to add muriatic acid as you'll be doing it a lot. Do NOT use dry acid- its not good for plaster.
Switch to liquid chlorine and turn that puck thing off and remove the pucks. You've maxed out your limit as your CYA attests. Save the pucks for use during vacations and such, assuming your CYA isn't already too high.
No need to test CYA daily. If you stop the pucks, you've stop the CYA build up.
Have you considered a liquid chlorine injector system or salt water chlorinator??
