I’ve got a leisure bay extreme tech genius that was given to me and I’m trying to get it running. But something is missing and I’m not sure what hooks up there. It almost looks like a pump hookup but strange and there is a 1/2 inch line connected to the circ pump at the other end that looks like it need something to attach to. I’ve never seen a set up like this. Any help is appreciated

Well, I am not familiar with that brand but Ixm sure we can figure it out.
This tub has obviously had some repairs done before, and sometimes people will diy some pretty crazy stuff. Hopefully we don't find too much of that.
The black threaded fittings in the top pic are unions, and are likely for a pump, but could be used on a uv, salt cell, or other component as well. The configuration suggests pump, but unless there is alot of play on those pipes it will not connect to any pump I know of. Can you determine where those pipes go?
It looks like a check valve was added on the left. It should have an arrow on it to indicate flow direction. If pointing toward the black union it is the suction side of the pump, and if away it is the pressure side.
Threaded fittings are uncommon in spas and may have been added later, or used on a blower connection perhaps. Can you determine where that pipe goes?
A shop vac set up to blow can help in tracking pipes. Just hold the hose into the pipe and see where the air comes out. Check valves and closed slice valves will prevent air flow.
See what you can track down, and post more wide pics and we'll go from there.

I appreciate your reply. And I agree the unions definitely look like a pump set up and there is quite a bit of play in those lines. And you are correct in saying they way they are looks nothing like any set up for a motor I’ve ever seen either. Which is another reason I’m confused. And the check valve does point towards the rear of the spa and into a manifold on the lounger which would be the discharge side of a pump. The other side wraps around the other side of the tub. The smaller pipe with the male thread end the other side of that pipe hooks into the circulation pump. Which makes no sense to me either. I will post wider pics next Monday as it is at my in law’s house
Thank you for your help. It is greatly appreciated

I certainly will try the blower trick this weekend but I’m pretty sure the 2 unions are plumbed into the jets in the tub. The small line hooked to the circ pump confuses me because I always assumed a circ pump had to have an in and out. And I just can’t see how it’s possible

Yes, but where does the other side go? It is probably for a pump, but I like to be sure.

It does, and the little gray circ pump has an in and out. Out goes into the heater, then where? Where does the pipe with the threads connect to it, and what else connects to it?
I'm fairly confident this is not original to the tub, and may have been for an external solar heater or something. Once I know what goes where, I can tell you what to do to get it functional. Be as thorough as possible for a fast answer, as I am limited on time to respond.
