Legend back-up valve

I just replaced mine, but stupidly forgot to look at the orientation of my old valve before removing it.

Just to make sure - the arrow on the top of the valve housing should be pointing toward the cleaner, correct? It seems that way, based on the location of the thrust port on the valve, but I just wanted to be sure.

That is correct, and on all back up valves the small hole (about 3/8") should be pointing toward the cleaner.

Thank you much. It makes sense when you think about it, but I figured it did not hurt to double-check. The Legend’s manual has no detail on this at all.
