I noticed my backwash hose is filling with water, even though it's set on "filter," which is a pretty clear sign my valve has a leak. Any advice on what to do to fix it?

More then likely it’s your spider gasket in your valve. You unscrew your valve and check the gasket behind it. Not familiar with your brand of valve but it’s a very good chance that your problem. Just replaced mine with same problem.

Here's a parts diagram of your backwash valve: Parts For Jandy Never Lube Backwash Replacement Kits Jandy Backwash Valves - Swimming Pool Valve Parts

There is no spider gasket.
The valve used 2 diverters to redirectflow - Jandy Backwash Valve NeverLube Diverter Kit - R0552300. It looks like it's possible that the lower diverter seal could be damaged allowingwater to leak out the backwash line or the upper and lower diverter may not be synced correctly. If you choose to open it, I'd recommend having an o-ring seal kit on hand in case an o-rings becomes compromised.

The leak appears to be pretty slight. If a lot of water and/or pressure was going out the backwash port it would most likely blow a hole in your coiled up blue backwash hose.
