leaking multi-port valve

I have a leak around one of the screws on the valve and it's always the same place. It's not leaking anywhere else. I've changed the spider gasket and the O ring on the cover but nothing changed and when I unscrew the top it is obviously sealed as I can hear the seal breaking.

Since the water is coming from under the top part, I'm guess the body of the valve is the problem?
Please ignore the water on the rest of the valve - you can see the leak clearly in the video.
thanks

Best guess is either a warped or cracked body.

Do I need to replce with the same thing -it's an old set up and I'm wondering if there is something better out there.
Model sp0740de 2inch.
The filter connections and spacing are proprietary, designed to fit your Hayward tank. Not aware of an aftermarket MPV that will fit that tank.
You could always install a push/pull backwash valve at about half the price and a little replumbing. Yes, it is slightly more restrictive, but you probably wouldn't notice it. Model SP410X502S. Doesn't give all the options of a multi-port, but most likely they are not being used anyway.

In my opinion, push-pull or slide valves are horrible.

Your existing multiport is not a good choice either.

I would go with a regular multiport as indicated above that will give you more options than your existing multiport.
