As the title states, I have both inlet and outlet bulkheads leaking from my hayward c3025 filter, after replumbing my pump and having to move the inlet and outlet filter lines. I ordered two new bulkheads with orings, and also two new orings for the union.
My understanding is that these bulkheads on these Haywards are absolute garbage and you should silicon the heck out of them. My question is which Magic lube silicon should I use, Blue with PTFE, which seems to be more resilient, or Red with just silicon?
Thanks in advance. Also any advice on installing these bulkheads so they don't leak is much appreciated.
