Hi guys
Firstly, really grateful for this forum. Im a first time pool owner and it’s been a great resource for a noobie like me.
A bit of background- our neighbour has recently been doing some excavation in their backyard and one of our pvc pipes were dislodged from the elbow during their works and water was leaking from the joint. The pipes were resealed but immediately after that our cleaner pump started leaking. My pool plumber advised it was two separate issues and replaced the old cleaner with a brand new one Aqua quip booster pump.
After a day, water is again leaking from the new cleaning pool pump. I’m waiting for the pool plumber to return but I wanted to you see what you guys would think about all this. If the pump is new and sealed properly, what else can be done to fix the leak? Could the leaking pool pump be as a result of the pipes being resealed? Would appreciate your input.
Thanks!
