Was wanting to replace gasket , rails screws and cover plate on my in ground liner pool , liner is not but about 4 months old but can’t get guy back out and I know the liner is not correct around steps but was reading where jimmy greek was saying something about clueing a piece on to do this , and I wasn’t sure what he was saying , I know I’ve been worried about draining poolAgain and taking screws out and getting them back in same holes being liner has been trim out for steps any ideas would be appreciated thanks

The glue/sealant is for the back of the receiver against the plastic steps. It is the first piece with the teeth. Then the liner goes over then strip with opposing teeth goes on with screws. What did you want more info about specifically
