Hi everyone,
So I noticed the last few days I am having to top up the pool quite frequently. I first assumed it was because of the sunshine We’ve been getting lately and the fact that the pool heater is on. But even when we had high temperatures last year I never had to fill up this frequently so I started investigating based on a hunch that there was a leak somewhere. After leaving the pool pump on For over 24 hours, I Noticed The decking near the pool pump/filter was soaked. Yet when I physically felt for all the exposed pipes and connections and joints everything was dry. The part of the decking that is wet on the ground is the part that is under the pool pump, the sand filter housing and the pool heater so I am thinking the leak is coming from one of these three. All this time the filter was set to filtration. Now I have set it to recirculate, maybe naïvely assuming that this would help to exclude if the leak is coming from the sand filter housing itself?
What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
