Leak somewhere

I put my pool up, started filling and noticed water under the pool on the tarp. It’s only about 3” filled, so it seems as though it would be on the bottom of the liner near where it is wet. I got in and looked and do not see any holes, but there HAS to be one!! What is the secret to finding this hole? Thanks.
Oh yeah and I bought an Intex over the wall skimmer for my pool (Intex) and it does not ft The hose that attaches to the skimmer is larger than the outlet hole. Guess I will go without the skimmer…..This may be the last summer for pool.

This is inexpensive to use as dye and pool safe. Squirt some on the water and see where it flows out.
