Hi all, my husband and i are first time pool owners and non-experts! Our liner had met its time so we are attempting to replace it ourselves. We drained the pool and removed the liner however on one side there are two concerning things. Firstly a very large damp patch around one of the pumps, clearly there has been a leak, is there any way to tell where this leak might have come from? And secondly when taking off the liner a small chunk of the wall came away and there has been a consistent dribble of water coming out, we dont know where this is coming from, if we can just block it up and how? Any help would be hugely appreciated as at this point we would need to take out a large loan to get professional help if we cant sort it ourselves. Thank you in advance! I will try to attach photos/videos

Hi and welcome to TFP. It sounds like there are two things going on:
1. Leak around equipment-Take a pic of this.
2.Wall degrading and leaking. How close to the equipment pad is that area?

How high is your water table? How far down do you have to dig to find water in your area?
