Leak in pool with leak detection company coming to repair

Well, the water certainly looks blue-er to me today. The repairs look pretty good too. I’m satisfied. I’m almost wondering if the boric acid I used to have in the pool made it look blue-er. Funny thing- I checked the water this morning (I added liquid chlorine yesterday) and I had a slight (0.5) chloramine reading. I’ve never had that before, so I’ll keep a close eye on that. I’ll add the boric acid after everything settles down again.

I pressure washed the deck today as well. The pool is getting back to normal. ?

I forgot the pictures! And the mottling that I saw when the pool was drained is barely noticeable now that it is full again. No worries!

The CC is probably from your fill water. I know my water in WPB has 3 CC. So on a fully fresh fill it might take a day or so for it to fully burn off, especially with the cage.

It is more common than you think :( Some have cc even higher than you found.

I am SO happy things worked out so well! You need to shout out the name of the company that did the repair. They really did a great job and used skill and care to make the repair look as good as possible! Make sure to keep their name on file for others!

A little late to the party, but like others have said, a really great job for what you paid! Definitely keep their name on file like Kimkats said, too many times we tell everybody about who to stay away from but never give praise on who to go to. Good Luck and that is a great job!
