Leak at heater

See attached. Small leak from top pipe. Everything working fine but want to address. Heater was installed last year so I am sure I could get the guy out but who knows how long. Seems like it might be an easy fix. Leak is where the white coupling (?) meets the black pipe.

I had a leak just like that on the suction side too. The repair tech said there was no glue in my case. Hard to believe but true. Might just need some new pipe glue.
I put some pure silicone to try and band it but from photo I posted, I need to replace that part. Working on figuring out that part now but doesn’t seem like something carrier in general plumbing section of Lowes/HD and the crack team at my local Leslie’s had no clue.
