Was looking for some design input...

Our pool build starts in early May and we are selecting our coping color. All the decking with be standard concrete, 4ft not incluing this paver coping. The coping we were thinking we would with is Nicolock Linear Cap in Granite City Blend (Grayish). It's 2 3/8 thick and 18" wide and 12" deep (Linear Stone Wall Cap - Nicolock) We're worried that it will just blend right into the concrete and we may wish we had got something with a bit more contrasting to concrete.

Here's a picture of a pool from Latham's website in G3 Pearl White:

We kind of like the little bit of white that you see sticking out around the edge of the pool here (It appears to be the fiberglass shell) so we were thinking of getting the linear cap in a snow white.

This pool has no coping. The deck is built up to the edge of the pool.

I would either do no coping or do coping color that contrasts with the deck concrete color.

Concrete can be lots of different shades of grey or can be colored. Talk to your deck contractor about your color options.

@kimkats will no doubt have ideas.

If you look at the media section of my profile you'll see a dark grey coping next to a plain old concrete color. There is plenty of contrast.

Understood, you can see just a little white which I thought contrasts nicely with the water and the decking, that's more what I was pointing out. I am agreeing with contrasting with the decking.
