Last few questions on SLAM

So SLAMming is done and FC has been going down. This morning it tested at 12ppm. I have a few questions yet.

How soon should I turn my SWG back on as I get close to my target maxiumum? Within of couple ppm? I’m a new pool owner and I hadn’t gotten my SWG dialed in yet for what I need, before I had to SLAM.

When can I resume my weekly testing? Do I wait all the way to target maximum? I know PH isn’t accurate at high FC, are other test affected too? What’s considered high FC for other tests, like PH? Thanks for any help.

I've heard that when you're down with SLAM, you will likely need to leave it off so that the FC can drift back down to maintenance levels. Nevertheless, I don't have a SWG pool so I'll leave this question up to the experts and I'm sure they'll chime in soon.
