Large FC loss...stumped.

We had a couple of rains during the wildfires in Canada period where both CC spiked and FC decreased an extra 2-3 ppm or so in 24 hours. Also when we have winds strong enough to blow tree dandruff around it's sometimes the same.

Moral is it's possible the 0.1 inch of rain had some bad stuff in it, or some other organics blew in. Did you check CC? Have things gone back to normal?

My cell definitely seems happier above 3000, and the manual says that, too. Ymmv. It's a different cell.

CYA makes a big difference, though the quick change seems to rule that out.

I can understand how unsettling an unexplained FC drop like that would be. I’d feel the same way. If there’s a moral to the story, this is why we hold FC well above min at all times.
