Any idea what could be causing these large chunks on the pool floor? My water is warm being in south Florida. After a lot of rain my calcium is 650. It was 450 for a while. Ph tends to run high from the swg I’m always adding acid to bring down. TA 60. Help!

Do you have calcium buildup on any rock formation or like objects? I did, and would find chunks on the pool floor occassionally (issue caused by privious owner using CalHypo shock with CH over 1000).
That issue has been corrected with the help of TFP. :) Had to clean and scrape the build up off the rocks.

I don't understand how rain water would cause CH to rise. It should go the other way.

I have the same issue with the SWCG. It's not an issue, just the way it's going to be.
