Hello,
We’re in the process of setting up our 24’ AGP. We had a grader come out and level the pool site yesterday. Whoo hoo! He was able to get it level with the bobcat, but there was a large boulder/rock formation on half of it. Our pool instructions say to put leveled pavers underneath the uprights. I bought 2x8x16 pavers and am able to dig out the dirt to level about half of them. But im not sure what to do in the area of the huge rock formation. Can I skip using the pavers in the area? Or do I need to chisel out the rock to get the paver level in it? Appreciate any advice!

I could probably slide the bottom to get it directly on top of the rock. It’s at the correct height so I imagine it would be essentially the same thing as a paver.

That looks to be the ultimate support! If it hasn't sunk in the last, oh, million years or so, I'm gonna say it'll be OK! ;)

If it doesn't seem to be flat enough, you can use some shims. Use plastic, not metal or wood. A dollop of silicon caulk on the underside of the shim will keep it from sliding about as the support foot flexes with the pool.

Phew. After much frustration and cursing... I’m got all the pavers to within 5/8”. I had to chisel that rock down about 1” which was the highest point. Glueing up some plastic shims now to help spread out the load under that upright.
