Hi all! New pool owner here and have found this group and the pool math app really helpful so far. When we bought our house our
in ground pool came with an older, but usually very well functioning Pentair Kreepy Krauly suction side pool cleaner. I love it but lately the hose is getting stuck between the body of the unit and one of the back wheels. It does only seem to happen when the solar cover is on. I wonder if the hose doesn’t move as freely though the water and that is why?

Any thoughts on if my solar cover theory is correct or if you can adjust the wheel a bit so the hose can’t get caught? There is nothing in the manual about it.

Thank you!

Pictures?

I have the KK Sandshark which not a wheeled cleaner. Unfortunately Pentair makes a lot of cleaners in the Kreepy Krauly line so it’s often hard to know which one is which.

That's weird. My hose is about 1.5" in diameter, and the space between by Rebel's body and its wheels is like a 1/4". There's no way the hose could work its way in there. As Matt suggests, we may need to see pics, ideally when the hose is stuck.
