Brand new pool (about a week in) here in San Antonio, TX. The pool just registered 90 degrees! When we first got it going a few days ago, I got in at 78 degrees and loved it! Honestly loved it yesterday at 86 too. Now that it's hitting 90 and will likely get even higher, is there anything reasonable we can do to cool it off? I've heard we can run our deck jets all night and that helps. Is that true? If so, I can't imagine it does much (maybe a degree or two?).

Thanks!

We have a mister system around the pool area (laid the conduit/sleeves prior to the deck pour) and have some of the nozzles facing the pool area. Even tho it doesn't cool the pool, itself, it does create a much cooler layer just above the pool which "feels" cooler overall. The mister is the 1000psi one that has a dedicated pump (in the equip shed) that evaporates the water extremely quick...the regular line pressure ones don't work well at all.
