The Kansas wind has done a number on our pool. First the cover got ripped off and then the liner got a hole and eventually tore the liner all the way around the pool. Now the padding under the liner on the walls is gone and the sides are buckling in a bit....help! We don’t know what to do to stop further damage. We bought a liner but not supposed to put the liner in until we have a hot sunny no wind day but at this point we don’t know when that’ll happen! Also do we have to have the pad on the walls under the liner? Any suggestions on how to get the rest of the water out when the time comes to put the liner in? 😭😤

You do not need the foam under the liner. Go ahead and take it down/off. Water in pool=shop vac. Use a shop vac to get up and out.

I would get that liner in sooner rather than later as your pool walls are in danger of getting very messed up from the wind. Do NOT take the top rails off!!! That will speed things up :(

If you don't think you can put the liner in tomorrow then run out there with some camping stakes or such and good rope to anchor the pool from the wind.
