I had my JVS270S 2.7 variable speed pump installed along with all new valves and aitomsted valve controllers. Everything went well. The only minor set back is unlike the Hayward the jacuzzi doesn’t come with the communication cable for the OmniLogic panel.
Installer said everything is identical to the Hayward brand motor even the parts and bags say Hayward. I got it for $1350 + $150 per hp rebate from local electric company. (Not sure if it’ll be $300 or $450 since it’s 2.7), has a 5 year warranty, and my overall install was $1400 which included 4 new 3 way valves. 3 new Hayward auto valve controllers and new union kits and piping. He also programmed spillover mode which I like to have only for a few hours a day instead of constant.
This replaced a Hayward North Star 2 speed. So far it’s way quieter and I’m running at 66% speed for pool and spillover is 70% to clear the rocks.
