Help all is well for everyone. I have a few JVA’s. I have three VSP’s two are used as jet pumps one supports rear jets in my spa and the other side spa jets. The trick is I also have the deep end fountains which is on one of the jet pumps and a water slide and shallow fountain on the other jet pump. The question I have is where in the i Aqualink do I tell which JVA and the direction it should go? Basically when I select pool slide two valves are supposed to move a certain direction. From the main screen on the app I select equipment and there I select the action I need to happen but where is what happens programmed.

Thanks in advance

This is actually the right answer. Turn it on, then flip that switch if it's not correct and it will reverse to the other direction.
That’s good but how do you setup the jva with the automation system. Basically when I select pool slide how do I program that button to initiate the jva

Thanka

You have to have the slide tied to an auxillary, Then you have to have a JVA assigned to that auxiliary.
See the screen where you assign it. I only have 2 automated JVA. Show us your screen and also which devices are set to the various auxiliaries.

Keep in mind I didn’t do any programming but I’m trying to learn so I’m not calling service professionals. I’ll attach my screen however as I scroll to each page none say water slide or fountains. Maybe they were not renamed when programmed. How do I assign the JVA’s for a fu croon like water slide or fountains? How can I tell which aux is already assigned? Thanks !IMG_2764.png

We also need to see the Label Auxillary Screen that I showed as an example.
Which auxiliaries power the pump that goes to the slide?
How many total JVAs do you have? Your setup indicates only 2 - one on the suction and 1 on the return.
Do you have all 3 of your pumps registered in your pump setup? See mine but I only have 1 pump. Yours should show 3 pumps if they are all VS pumps.
Once we understand how your pumps are set up we can then work through how to relate a JVA to a pump action. My concern is that you mention you have to turn 2 JVAs to activate the slide so that has me a little baffled but may be we can work through that.
A picture of your equipment pad and specifically another one where the pump and valves that go to the slide.

As you look at the set up I have JVA’s at shallow fountain slide and deep end. The issue with using booster pump for the spa and those features is having to have the valve open to support the spa and features at the same time. The spa requires higher speed than the features including the slide. I’m having a tough time trying to figure the best way to plumb as to not have a conflict between the spa and the features. Requested photos attached

Refer to Post #8 as we need to see what assignments to the auxiliaries have been done. Can you post a screen shot of that.

I circled 3 JVA’s in the picture below. The Blue (on left), the Red (in center and is your Intake/suction JVA) and Yellow on right. There are wires leading from each JVA - where are the Blue and Yellow ones plugged into? The Red one shows to be connected to your Intake (picture in Post #9). And I assume there is a 4th JVA on the Return pipes (not shown) that is plugged into your Return socket JVA In that same photo. The Intake and Return JVA sockets are the only ones shown to be active.

BTW, do you have 1 box where all of these electrical connections lead to? I am referring to the power for 3 pumps, the wires for 4 JVAs, the lights, the air blower for the spa (fi you have one) etc. Maybe you can also show a picture of the enclosure a couple of steps back so we can see the wiring leading into it.

I did not receive a photo with circles

Added to my post. I got a phone call just as I was loading it and it posted without the picture.
Ok it looks like my sub panel has an issue and is not operating three JVA’s the subpanel was in service mode that I did not place it in and when I tried to hit the button to put in auto mode it didn’t respond. I hit the reset button all three light flashed but still dose t respond. I have power in and out of the transformer and the fuse on the board is good. Any ideas? Thanks

Turn off the main CB to the panel. Leave it off for 3 minutes and then put to on. let the system completely reboot and determine if the buttons on the Auto-Service-Time Out function properly. Then put everything in Auto mode.

I did that and the main panel came back in and functions properly however the sub panel did not respond still no lights and buttons not responding.

For clarification - when you refer to sub-panel - it is the AquaLink panel you are showing in the picture - correct?
A couple of things to check.
You need to remove those cover plates
1) look for the 2 wires that powers the PCB at the top. You may need to trace the wires back from the plug in on the back of the PCB To the circuit breaker (CB) Ensure the PCB is getting power. Is that the one noted as “remote” (not sure what that is)
2) Test where the main power is coming into the AquaLink panel. Are you getting 240 V to the main CB bar - (this is assuming you are comfortable with electrical testing - if not - then call an electrician. )
3) From the various CBs shown, there should be wires that go to the pump, spa light, etc. auxiliaries which are directly above the CBs. It was noted there are 3 pumps - are they labeled Filter, Spa and Booster? Just want to ensure we are looking at the right parts.

All power readings are correct I’m starting the think the board is bad. My service company is backed up because it’s opening season here so I wanted to see if I could do something while waiting. The board is less than a year old so under warranty but that does me little while waiting on a service call. Thanks for the info we’ll see what happens.
