Just got Taylor K-2006C AND Sutro system

5.5 ppm FC loss is higher than normal. But if a transient single day, not cause for concern.

Always use your FAS-DPD test for measuring FC that you post. The reliability of the Sutro thing is not well established.

I am going to return the Sutro. It's reading are off consistently. I am very displeased with it

Whatever was eating my FC seems to have stopped. Today I ran SWG at 100% (6 AM-9 PM) and actually saw FC go from 5.5 to 7 despite a day of heavy sunlight. I cleaned the waterfall with barely diluted shock and removed the sponges that were in my skimmers and seemed to be growing algae.
