In going thru my phone, I found a few pics of my new pool build. I thought I had some more, but I must have deleted them. Anyway, since Ive been mouthing off so much here, the least I can do is post some pics of my pool. They arent in any order.

And a Happy New Year to you too! Im really loving this pool, it turned out just perfect. I can pretty much say that had I to do it all over again, I cant think of a thing I would change.

I dunno what it is.... pools are like puppies. I’ve yet to see one I don’t like, But you still have a really good looking puppy right there !

LOVE it! Nice to see the finished product! That cage is a wonderful idea. You will never miss out on a night swim due to bugs chasing you in!! Do you think your dog will enjoy it? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the turtle! SO CUTE!!!

Kim, its not terribly buggy here at all, but Ive got 4 sycamore trees about 100 feet to the west of the pool that drop about 100 tons of leaves every year, and of course they blow east. It would be a nightmare without the cage.

Details please on how they told you. This sounds like a good story!

Good call on the leaf block! When we moved into this house one of the first things we did was cut down a HUGE water oak tree that was hanging over the pool house and pool. It had to GO!!!

Very nice pool and I bet you'll be in it a lot!

Enclosures work great here in Florida for leaves and bugs. We live right on a wetland preserve and the bugs hit you hard right before sundown. The new building codes also require a concrete beam around the pool that the frame ties into for structural integrity. Our beam is 12" and 16" deep. If we have a cat 4 or stronger wind the designer told me to sacrifice the corner screen panels and we'd be fine. So far we haven't had to do that but have survived 90 mph sustained with no problem.

Happy 2020 everybody!

Chris

I always quote Ron White : it's not the fact THAT the wind is blowing...... it's WHAT the wind is blowing....... if you get hit with a VOLVO.............

But yeah, at 140mph the cage will parobably be the least of your worries.
