I noticed the new Zodiac check valve flappers are now black vs red (classic)....Does this mean a change has been made? or different manufacturer? (old thread I know).
when installing a check valve, it's best to remove the guts so the guy does not touch the valve parts. Or, if you have the luxury, when you glue one side, hold the other end up that makes the glue flow away from the valve parts.. if you can do the same again, do so. If not, remove the valve parts and clean inside w a small rag...good luck
