Jandy VSP Pump, turns on , no flow

Hi, pump decided to bork today. The pump turns on and acts like its running (though a lower speed) and has no flow. Checked basket, filter, valves, all good, nothing changes the behavior. Primed , nada. Any suggestions ? Very odd it just stopped. We have had a lot of rain, but doubt that could cause a problem. Pump is only 2 years old.

Check the impeller for clogs or a breakage. It is the impeller that moves the water. If the motor is running but no water is flowing then look at the impeller.
 
Troubleshooted more today. The impeller moves when I manually do it with a screwdriver. The pump turns on, seems like its going on high, but the impeller appears not to move at all. I can leave the cover off and start the pump, no water is moving. So, it seems like something broke between the pump and impeller shaft. This sound like a new part or something I can fix?

You need to open up the pump and see if the impleller has unscrewed from the motor shaft.
