New inground pool and Jandy salt chlorinator. I can run the chlorinator on Boost for 2 hours and chlorine tests 1.5-2.
Set aquapure to run 12 hours at 80% and over the course of 2 days chlorine drops to zero.
Ph level 7.4
Stabilizer 60

L,

Welcome to TFP! Sounds like you may have algae. You've come to the right place! We sell nothing so we're never conflicted with our advice. All you get here is great advice from experts and other pool enthusiasts that volunteer their time to help others. TFP methodology is a little different and much less expensive than following most pool store advice. Here's some suggested reading for you:

FC/CYA Levels

Sounds like your CYA may be a little low and if these results are typical that you haven't been maintaining safe FC levels. But all this assumes your test results are accurate. We only make changes based on your own test results from test kits we've determined provide accurate, repeatable results from pool owners. So if you want to use TFP methods you need to get a test kit ordered asap. We recommend several kits and there are lots of places you can buy them. Take a look at this to help decide what kit to get:

I hope this is helpful!

Chris
