Jandy Pump Control Quit

Hello!

Advice and direction please. We are located in central Oklahoma and did not plan to close our pool. Our Jandy pump controller quit working overnight. We are expecting low 20 degree temperatures overnight tonight. Day time temps will be reaching into the mid 40s tomorrow afternoon. While we order a new controller, what would you suggest that we do to prevent freezing pipes? Today is Saturday and I can have a new controller Monday.

Also, our pool was installed September 2022. We replaced this controller in March 2023. Is there a better option for controllers? I'll be looking into warranty but just curious for future reference.

What model Jandy pump?

The following is used to test some Jandy VS pumps and run it without a control head:

Test the drive with the RS-485 jumper method. Using small sections of 22 AWG wire, jump pins 1 to 3 and 2 to 4. These wires can be made by cutting off a section of the RS-485 wires. Re-install the connector and attach the access cover. Apply power to the motor. The motor should spin at 2600 RPM indefinitely.
