Jandy palm not switching between spa and pool heater, and not setting temp

I suspect no one ever ran the wire from Aqualink to the heater. It is very easy to connect.

Or the "firemans switch" control wire between the Aqualink and the heater has been damaged.

The heater will turn on from the remotes. It just won’t let me adjust the temp nor will it switch to spa without doing it at the heater unit. It used to work.

So assuming you have in inground pool, add the following to your signature (with model numbers if available):

Pump: Intelliflo?
Filter: what type of filter
Chlorinator: do you have AquaPure?
Cleaner: automatic pool cleaner?
Heater: Jandy JXi 400K BTU Heater
Automation: Aqualink RS4 or RS8? With AquaPalm remote

Here’s some more stuff I found. It has a little vacuum in the pool. Not sure about aquapure I have a pool guy.

So if it turns on, what temp does it go to? I noted on your PDA that you have a spa heat and a pool heat. But you say you cannot switch it?

You probably have the IntelliFlo VSF (011056) and the CCP 420 cartridge filter. You have no cleaner sitting in the pool? Take a photo of your Aqualink panel.
