Hi Pool Peeps,

I'm traveling and got a call from the kids that the pool heater stopped working. They sent this picture and looks like a circuit board burnt up. The heater is a LXi400 and uses propane.

Anyone have a clue what the board does and potential replacement cost?

Thanks for any guidance. I know this is not a lot to go on, but that's all I got for now.

Ken

Have you replaced the PDB?

What are your questions?

I have not replaced the board yet. I'd like to understand if this is a failure of the PDB alone or if this is induced by impact from a downstream component. What have others experienced?
Web searches indicate the transformer is often ordered along with the PDB. The transformer appears fine and the inline fuse did not blow. The transformer is $100+ so not sure if I should replace it as well.

Have you tested the transformer out puts with a multimeter?
