I have this Jandy lite 2 heater. When i set the control panel to heat the spa side of the pool to 104, it stalls at 90. Any idea what I should do to fix this or diagnose it?

I think this is the manual for your heater - https://www.mypool.com/Help-Files/jandy-laars-lite2-heater.pdf

The temperature controls are potentiometers which are variable resistors where the wiper can get dirty. Get some electrical contact cleaner and squirt it into the temperature controls. You may need to open it up so you can get into it from the back.

@swamprat69 may have ideas.

Hi @ajw22, i should add that this is connected to an easy touch panel, where the temperature controls are. Does that change where the issue lies at all?
Both of the dials on the heater need to be set at their highest setting. If it doesn't work then, you likely need a new temp sensor in the heater if the reading on the Easy Touch panel is correct. Regardless the setting in the Easy Touch, the heater's control determines the temp it will heat to if the heater is set lower than the Easy Touch.
