I have a Jandy JXI that's a little over a year old so out of warranty. The problem I'm seeing is it'll turn on, stay on for a few minutes, and then turn off. And repeat endlessly. It'll get the temp up eventually but takes forever. I had a tech come look at it and there's no codes so he spoke with Jandy who suggested a new Ignition Control Module. I've found one online and was wondering if it's just plug/play. Do I just swap out the old with a new one or is there some kind of programming that needs to happen?

Unlikely to be the ICM.
More likely to be the thermal regulator or the bypass valve if your heater flow is good.
When did you last clean your filter?
What is your filter PSI?
Short cycling is caused by the heater overheating internally due to low water flow. The safeties shut it down. As soon as it shuts down it cools and the safety resets and it relights.
Either you have low water flow externally or the defective parts are bypassing the heater water flow.

Thanks atleast that's a place to start. The filters were last cleaned about 3 months ago and the current psi is ~12. I've been thinking of replacing the filters completely since I don't know when they were last replaced (bought this house 1.5yrs ago).
It was professionally installed but I called a different company for service as the original company isn't very responsive. Good to know about the warranty, I reached back out to the original company!

3 months can be a long time for filters.
