My dedicated Spa heater is currently in Tstat mode and the Aqualink app appears to be managing the temp controls correctly. However, when I go to the physical heater, I see that it is being managed by the temp settings on the actual unit. In other words, if the Unit is manually set to 100 but in the App its set to 90 --- the heater will run until it reaches 100 (per the heater unit setting), but the App shows the heater in 'standby' once the heat sensor shows 90 (per the app). I thought Tstat mode would only allow the App to control the heater?

Your heater relay on the Aqualink board has probably failed closed.
Do you have a multimeter and know how to check continuity to see if the relay opens and closes?
