Jandy iQPUMP01 Not Connecting to Wi-Fi Initial Install

Just purchases the Jandy iQPUMP01 to control my flopro 1.85 & I can connect my iphone to the iQPUMP01through the ap but can not complete the last step where the iQPUMP01 connects to Wifi.
I have added a wifi booster and get 2 bars at the pump - by checking my iphone. It says to connect to the 2.4g network, which is the strongest at the pump but do not see where to choose the network to connect to from the gui for the iQPUMP01. Any ideas?

Do you have a mesh Wifi system?

Is your router set to broadcast only 2.4 Ghz while establishing your connection?

Thanks for the advice - tried without success,
No - I don't think I have a mesh, I have a Verizon wireless router and wifi - extender
One thing I notice, is that after after I press the wifi to phone button on the IQPUMP01 & then I connect my iphone to the iQPump01, and go through the other steps, by the time I get to enter the password to my 2.4gz network, & the password is long, the "wifi to phone " LED times out, LED turns off, just before I complete the long password or right after. _ Is it possible to press the wifi to phone button a 2nd time while lit - to provide longer time to enter wifi password and allow connection??Or will pressing the button a 2nd time do nothing or at least at extend the time?
